Gizmos Reviews - 15 Day Book Blogger Challenge | Day 1

Thanks to April over at Good Books Good Wine who created this stellar challenge! You can learn more about it here. I'm starting my post today because I flooded my blog with posts on Monday and Tuesday!

Day 1: Make 15 book-related confessions.

1. If there is a 3 way love triangle, you lose an automatic grade from me. Sorry, no exceptions.
2. I have absolutely no problem with borrowing books from the library rather than purchasing them from Amazon. 
3. I am a science fiction geek from way back; think Star Trek & Star Wars.
4. I have never read a BDSM book (think 50 shades) and have no inclination of starting anytime soon.
5. I currently have 563 E-books on my Kindle which is pretty timid compared to my friends.
6. I hate when I borrow a library book and the pages are dog eared or ripped.
7. I can NOT stand Insta-love situations where the heroine is in lust with someone within the first 10 pages.
8. I actually enjoy reading historical novels that have a steampunk element. 
9. I must have all my ARC's listed in order by the date they come out, or I'm lost.
10. I have an entire book shelf that is filled with books that I haven't read and will probably donate to the library or hospice.
11. I have NOT finished a book in 2 years, or since I started blogging. No DNF zone.
12. When I read, I have a notebook and pen handy to take notes so I don't forget anything.
13. I'm former Navy, so, my dad got me hooked on military thrillers which aren't all that bad.
14. I may never see the end of my TBR pile because it will take nearly 20 years to get through them all!
15. I have only been to ONE book convention and got ridiculously sick on the second day.
