*Stacking the Shelves* Welcome to February!

Stacking The Shelves is a fun way to show off the books we received over the past week in the hopes that you will find something that you will be interested in reading. As always, it is in no way, shape, or form to be considered bragging or sticking out our tongues at other bloggers.

I personally enjoy  reading comments from those that stop by and support Gizmo's Reviews and I make every effort to comment and visit back your blog in return.

Such an interesting week. While I am happy with my haul, I am disappointed in that I was denied by publishers who have approved ALL of my other requests in the past. Then again, I am absolutely happy that my local library is getting more aggressive in pushing back against government cut backs, and layoffs, and are actually PURCHASING awesome new books so I can get caught up on series I'm severely lacking behind on!

Hope you find something you like!

*I've been a bit worried about the recent reviews of this book which are all over the place! Therefore, I will hold off on reading it for as long as I can.

  1. Shelly, you got an awesome book. Sometimes I get denied from publishers who have approved me for books in the past. Looks like an awesome list of books this week.

I read and loved Through the Zombie Glass! I cannot wait to read the third book - it should be pretty fantastic! And I read The Pledge, but never got around to reading The Essence or The Offering D:

  7. I think that's smart holding off on Up From The Grave if you're not ready for it. I'm doing the same thing with Styxx. A lot of the reviews are great but I found one negative review that has really stuck with me so I'm trying to get past it so I can enjoy the book as much as possible.

  9. I need to get caught up on Cat & Bones, I've fallen a bit behind. I had no idea this was the last one though! Interested to see what you think of The Body in the Woods. I read a few other April Henry books and enjoyed them for the most part. Really need to check out Darynda's YA series, not sure why I haven't. Enjoy your new reads!

  12. Great haul! I got Up from the Grave, too, and I am holding off on it, too. But I'm holding off because I don't want Cat and Bones adventures to stop :D

I hope you'll love your new books. Happy reading.
