"Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at “Breaking the Spine”, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating....
This weeks choice is Ruins by Dan Wells, the final installment of the
Partials Sequence!
I am eagerly anticipating the last book in the Partials Sequence trilogy. I know that some people already have their hands on this book which is fine. There are some eager fans out there who have even rated it without knowing anything about the book! ::eyeroll:: I shall, however, be ever patient and wait my time until I can get my hands on this copy and see how Wells wraps things up! I'm eager to see what happens to Kira, and Sam.
Kira, Samm, and Marcus fight to prevent a final war between Partials and humans in the gripping final installment in the Partials Sequence, a series that combines the thrilling action of The Hunger Games with the provocative themes of Blade Runner and The Stand.
There is no avoiding it—the war to decide the fate of both humans and Partials is at hand. Both sides hold in their possession a weapon that could destroy the other, and Kira Walker has precious little time to prevent that from happening. She has one chance to save both species and the world with them, but it will only come at great personal cost.
Hardcover, 464 pages
Expected publication: March 11th 2014 by Balzer + Bray

ReplyDeleteEpp! I have a copy of Partials here, which I haven't read yet and I don't have the second book but now that I see that Ruins is releasing soon, I should probably start reading. Heard a lot of good things about this series. Great pick!
