Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic and we all share our thoughts on that topic! I decided it was finally time to jump on board with this wicked fun meme!
For this week on Top Ten Tuesday, the topic is:
Top Ten Books That Will Make You Cry
10. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
Everybody keeps putting A Monster Calls on their lists. I guess I need to read that one soon! Also, love all the rest of your list too!

I really need to read Jellicoe Road. I've been meaning to for quite some time now, but I think this week's list has pushed it up the TBR pile. Great list!
ReplyDeletePushing The Limits and The Fault in Our Stars made me cry, too. There's some really touching moments in both books. I haven't read Code Name Verity yet, but it's one I want to definitely read this year. It seems to be a favorite of so many people. Great picks! :)
ReplyDelete... I'm so behind on SO MANY books! The Lovely bones was a great choice that I didn't think of though! I read Speak so many years again that i have pretty much forgotten all about it- guess that makes it the perfect time for a re-read! Thanks for sharing your list!

Our Top Ten Tuesday
Good list, I agree that The Fault in Our Stars, Speak and The Lovely Bones are very emotional books.
ReplyDeleteOh, fantastic list!
ReplyDeleteSiobhan Dowd made it on to mine too. As did TFioS and Lovely Bones.
Nice picks! Seeing quite a few of these around! Like John Green!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday post

Jellicoe and TFiOS made mine as well--and Code Name Verity definitely should have--forgot about that one:)

I think we'll see TFIOS on everyone's list today :)
ReplyDeleteCode Name Verity got me tearing but not Rose Under Fire. But definitely the feels. Have yet to read TFIOS but soon. :)
ReplyDeleteYes to Jellicoe Road, Code Name Verity and Rose Under Fire! I shed more tears for Where She Went than for If I Stay and TFIOS is the reason I had to break up with John Green forever. Too much!! Thanks for sharing! ~Megan
