#Stacking the Shelves / Bought, Borrowed, & Bagged - Post-Vacation Haul

Bought Borrowed and Bagged is all about the latest additions to your library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  you will be reading soon. Bought Borrowed and Bagged is a homage to to Barron’s Books and Baubles from Karen Marie Moning’s amazing Fever series, and is hosted by Braine over at Talk Supe.

Thanks for Shopping by!

I actually went on a little unexpected vacation. I took off on Wednesday 09/14 and drove 18 hours to NY where my mom lives. 18 hours you ask? Yep! Of course, I hit fog, rain, and many, many areas of road construction that slowed down my trip, especially in Pennsylvania! Happily I arrived in NY while the sun was still up and my new car did really well on gas. <$120 round trip!> I have to tell you folks, my former hometown is nothing as I remembered it. Not even from 3 years ago when I was there last! It has lots, and lots of Hotels and not enough places to go out to eat with your family. Thankfully, my Mom being my Mom, found a place where she could order seafood for Sunday where we had an outdoor picnic and actually laughed and enjoyed ourselves for a change while leaving out politics and our own issues for another day. Since there are only 4 of us left in my immediate family, I was happy we were all able to get together. The weather was absolutely brilliant! 2 days was it colder than 60. That was the first, and last day I was there. In case you weren't aware, I take my cat with me when I travel. At times he is a peach, at other times, he needs a bit of TLC for being stuck in the car with me for so long. He also hates to leave once he is at my Moms. I arrived back in Florida last Friday afternoon with a sunburn on my right arm, and right leg, but happy to be home! Have to say I was surprised to see all the books waiting for me at the rental office, the library, and approved via NetGalley. Remember, this is only for the weeks ending 09/23! Doesn't include this week!

Now that I am finished babbling, Enjoy Your Weekends!
