#Stacking the Shelves # 279 (Week Ending 04/14/2018)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Thanks for Stopping by!

Now that I've decided to stay where I am for one more year, rather than moving back to New York, or some where else, I've been trying to get back to reading again. I tell you folks, life comes at you fast. Just when you think you have everything figured out, something or someone comes around and throws all sorts of things at you. If you let it get to you, you will fall into depression, anger, resentment, and it make you want to give up. I will say this, however, I will never forget the way this particular company treated me, and those who have been here for more than 10 years. It's absolutely ridiculous!

Have a great weekend!
Shelley

  2. Glad you're getting things settled for yourself! Horrible when companies disregard loyalty such as that and treat their employees so poorly.

Nice new reads though! Some new to me ones there! I LOVED Obsidio and Hero at the Fall! Hope you enjoy all the new lovelies!

Got up early enough to sneak a few blog visits in! ;) My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

  6. This hasn't been my year either, but all we can do is keep plugging away. Getting lost in a good book does wonders for me. :-)

  9. Shelley I feel you in regards to companies, my Mother was in a similar situation, over 10 years of loyalty then one day she was to apply with the new recruits that is obviously going to be paid less due to experience. It's atrocious that there are no laws that doesn't have loop holes for things like this.

Hope you have a wonderful week and just remember as another door closes another will open.
