The final installment in Kristen Ciccarelli’s lush, internationally bestselling trilogy, the follow-up to The Last Namsara and The Caged Queen.

At the end of one world, there always lies another.

Safire, a soldier, knows her role in this world is to serve the king of Firgaard—helping to maintain the peace in her oft-troubled nation. Eris, a deadly pirate, has no such conviction. Known as the Death Dancer for her ability to evade even the most determined of pursuers, she possesses a superhuman ability to move between worlds.

Then Safire and Eris—sworn enemies—find themselves on a common mission: to find Asha, the last Namsara.

From the port city of Darmoor to the fabled faraway Sky Isles, their search and their stories become threaded ever more tightly together as they discover that the uncertain fate they’re hurtling toward may just be a shared one. In this world and the next.

Kristen Ciccarelli’s internationally bestselling Iskari trilogy, perfect for fans of Red Queen and The Wrath & the Dawn, comes to a stunning conclusion in The Sky Weaver.

The Sky Weaver, by author Kristen Ciccarelli, is the third and apparent final installment in the authors Iskari trilogy. This series has been a sort of progression starting with Asha, daughter of the king of Firgaard who helped overthrow her father and met a boy named Torwin. The Caged Queen featured Roa and Dax who are now Queen and King of Firgaard. This final installment features a duo that couldn't be more different had they tried. Eris is the thief known as Death Dancer, while Safire is the King's commandant. She is also Asha and Dax's cousin.
Eris possesses the ability to move between worlds. She's being hunted by Leandra, the Empress of Star Isle's because she knows the truth about what Leandra did years ago that sent Eris into to the arms of an unscrupulous pirate named Jemsin. Eris has no qualms about cheating, lying, or stealing to get what she wants. During a burglary at the King's palace, she meets Safire and ends up playing a cat and mouse game that will change everything. Eris is given one final job by Jemsin. She must capture the last Namsara (Asha) and bring her to Jemsin. But, the question soon becomes who wants Asha, and for what reason?

Safire is tired of being bested by the Death Dancer thief. She's had to fight all her life for what she wants. First against exclusion because of her status of semi-blood and then against the men who regularly targeted her. She's a strong character because of her career and one thief isn't going to ruin her life or career if she has anything to say about it. After being caught and captured by Eris, Safire learns that Asha is being sought by by Leandra, the Empress of Star Isles. Safire owes everything to Asha and Dax, and has devoted her time to enhancing her skill as a fighter. She has to eventually decide whether duty, or the heart will win out.

Safire and Eris will eventually go from enemies, to reluctant allies with the control constantly shifting between them. All with the background of dragons, sea monsters, pirates and deceitful gods. In addition to expanding the world and mythology, Ciccarelli builds upon the magic of the world in each book. Ciccarelli does a great job of building the relationship between Safire and Eris from hatred and annoyance to love. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the two and loved the romance. This book does have several scenes with Asha and Torwin involved. Dax and Roa are also involved because they are hoping Leandra will be able to offer much needed help to save Roa's people who are dying of starvation. Asha's story is still my favorite of the three. This story ends with a mostly predictable conclusion.
