Welcome to another edition of Feature & Follow Friday brought to you by Parajunkee's View
& Alison Can Read.
This weeks question is:
Question: What is the One thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?
Answer: Dear Stacy Jay; Keep writing no matter what. If your publisher is too stupid to
realize that you have a cult following for Annabelle and Crew, then go out and self pub.
Please don't give up on your dreams of keeping this series alive! Also, please don't mind
the negative reviews. Like everything else, there are those who will love you, and those
that just don't understand. Take care!
Okay, there you have my answer.
What would YOU tell your favorite author if you had the chance?
Great answer Shelley. I included Stacey Jay in my post, too ;-)

That's exactly the kind of thing writers need to hear when their publishers jerk them around. I'm sure it would make her day.

ReplyDeleteI love your message to Stacy Jay. Sometimes authors get in a slump and they really need the people who love their books to help encourage them.
Here's my Follow Friday :)
I don't know Stacy Jay, but I hope that she will keep writing. If there is one reader who wants to know what happens next, than she should write the story. ;)

New follower great answer on Shelly. If I could tell one of my favorite authors anything Lili St Crow bring The strange angels series back at least for one more book and end it right this time. The ending of the series after reading all five previous I, we the fans felt cheated. If you wan t to see my answer, click on my name.
ReplyDeleteHi Sonya :) Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts
DeleteHave a great weekend!
I would also love to encourage some authors to keep writing, even if they have had some negative feedback from readers. Stephenie Meyer is actually one of those. I sure hope she writes more. Anyway, great response!
