House Rules by Chloe Neill
Chicagoland Vampires #7
At the tender age of 27, Merit became a sword-wielding vampire. Since then, she’s become the protector of her House, watched Chicago nearly burn to the ground, and seen her Master fall and rise. Now she’ll see her mettle—and her metal—tested like never before.
It started with two . . . Two rogues vanishing without a trace. Someone is targeting Chicago’s vampires, and anyone could be next. With their house in peril, Merit and her Master, the centuries old Ethan Sullivan, must race to stop the disappearances. But as they untangle a web of secret alliances and ancient evils, they realize their foe is more familiar, and more powerful, than they could have ever imagined.
Author Info:
Chloe Neill is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Chicagoland Vampires and Dark Elite series.
She was born and raised in the South, but now makes her home in the Midwest–just close enough to Cadogan House and St. Sophia’s to keep an eye on things. When not transcribing Merit’s and Lily’s adventures, she bakes, works, and scours the Internet for good recipes and great graphic design. Chloe also maintains her sanity by spending time with her boys–her favorite landscape photographer/husband and their dogs, Baxter and Scout. (Both she and the photographer understand the dogs are in charge.)
Chloe is represented by Lucienne Diver of The Knight Agency. Chloe is a member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America.

My favorite book is Some Girls Bites, it is the first in this series and this is what got me addicted to Chloe's fantastic vampires and I fell in love with Chicago last April when I went there for a concert. Great place, great story and EPIC characters. Of course, Merit and Ethan are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Some Girls Bites had me falling in love with the chemistry between Merit and Ethan.
ReplyDelete^^ Totally agree girls! Some Girls Bites, is what made me fall in love with this series to begin with, I love the edge between Merit and Ethan and their relationship grew! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you a lot for having an option for international too!!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Some Girls Bites, is what drew me to in and will always be one of my favorite. But I love them all, I cannot wait to start reading my copy of House Rules. I had to download it before I left to go to work this morning.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to pick a favorite. I love Twice Bitten because of Gabriel. I loved Biting Cold because of the Tate mystery. And I loved House Rules because Cadogan finally sticks it to the GP. And, of course, all three of these included MAJOR moments for Ethan and Merit!
ReplyDeleteI love Twice Bitten. We get a look into the lives of the Shapeshifters. I love Merit here. She tries to help bridge that gap between shifters and vampires.
ReplyDeleteI loved Biting Cold, because Ethan and Merit are together!!!
ReplyDeleteIhaven't read any of the books! But I'm dying to, I've read they are great.
ReplyDeleteThank you for including your international followers :)
Biting Cold was my favorite, but they're all intense.
ReplyDeleteAll of them! I honestly couldn't choose one.
ReplyDeleteBook one - some girls bite. Its where we meet everyone

ReplyDeleteHard Bitten. Best gasp ever!
ReplyDeleteUp until now, it was Drink Deep because we saw Merit grow (and then my heart was pieced back together). But now it's House Rules!
ReplyDeleteI actually have not read any of this series yet, but do have them on my TBR list because I have read so many good things about them.

My favorite is the first one Some Girls Bite. It is where I met and fell in love will all the characters. But the book where Merit and Ethan get together is a close second.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was actually #3, Twice Bitten. I think I read 1-4 pretty much all in a row so I'm not sure what made #3 stand out the most but it got 5 stars. lol I can't wait to read the new one! Thanks for the giveaway, Shelley. :)
