Feature & Follow Friday 04/19/2012

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme sponsored

Q: Fight! Fight! If you could have two fictional characters battle it out(preferably from books), who would they be and who do you think would win?

This one was actually kind of hard for me to decide on since I love so many different series. So, I picked Gin Blanco from the Elemental Assassin series verses Evangeline (Evy) Stone from the Dreg City series.

In one corner, Gin is an assassin who wields both Stone and Ice elemental magic. She carries 5 different silverstone knives and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. She has been trained since the age of 13 to be an assassin and is very, very good at her job. Claim to fame: Finally killing Mab Monroe the uber villain who killed her family as well as taking on a 300 year old vampire who threatened her sisters best friend. Her current beau is Owen Grayson who is as hunky, and yummy as you will find.

In the other corner, Evy Stone is a former Dreg bounty hunter who can transport herself to any place she chooses. She is now residing in a body other than her own thanks to being killed shortly before the first book came out. She has died three seperate times since the series was released, and her main squeeze is Wyatt who was also her former handler.

My winner:
Gin Blanco because of her dual magic and the fact that I love me some Owen!

I can't wait to read your responses to this question.
Seriously, the more the merrier.
I also love new followers either by Linky, or GFC.

  1. Omg these are both series I really want to read! From what I know about bout, I would def say Gin as well. I matched up Chess from Downside and Cady from the Arcadia Bell series!

  2. Oh, man! I haven't read the Dreg City Series yet. But I would totally choose Gin as the winner! I mean she is like the most bad ass characters ever and plus she's an assassin. ;))

  7. I haven't heard of these characters, but i think Evy would win. Transportation is a HUGE deal, a very powerful advantage.

  25. They both sound pretty good. Assassin vs someone who can transport herself to different places during the battle.
