*Top Ten Tuesday Presents* Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read In 2013

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic and we all share our thoughts on that topic! I decided it was finally time to jump on board with this wicked fun meme!

For this week on Top Ten Tuesday, the topic is:

Top Ten New-To-Me AUthors I Read in 2013:

2013 was a fantastic year! New series were introduced, old series ended, and it appears that 2014 will be even better! These are just SOME of my favorites for the year. I will say that I could have added a dozen more but didn't want to go overboard!

1. Alexandra Bracken for The Darkest Minds
2. Lee Collins for She Returns from War
3. Kasie West for Pivot Point
4. D.T. Dyllin for the PJ Stone Gates Trilogy
5. Victoria Schwab for The Archived
6. Leigh Bardugo for The Grisha trilogy
7. Amie Kaufman/Megan Spooner for These Broken Stars
8. Emma Jane Holloway (The Baskerville Affair)
9. Terah Edun (Courtlight Series)
10. Ally Carter (Gallagher Girls Series)

  1. I'm new to the Grisha series too! I'm so mad that I waited so long to read it, but better late than never. Kasie West is one of my favorite new authors. I just love books that she's published so far and for what's to come.

I'm not familiar with most of the other authors on your list, but I'll be sure to check them out :)

  7. Wonderful list! So many of these are authors that I am still dying to read - Kasie West, Alexandra Bracken, Victoria Schwab, Leigh Bardugo! I am so excited to read those authors in 2014! I loved These Broken Stars, they would have made my list but I decided to stick to new-to-me authors that I gave 5 star reviews too (TBS only got 4). My TTT.
