*Stacking the Shelves* Edition #110 - The Edelweiss Collection

Stacking the Shelves for the week of May 25 thru May 31, 2014

Stacking The Shelves is a fun way to show off the books we received over the past week in the hopes that you will find something that you will be interested in reading. As always, it is in no way, shape, or form to be considered bragging or sticking out our tongues at other bloggers.

I personally enjoy  reading comments from those that stop by and support Gizmo's Reviews and I make every effort to comment and visit back your blog in return.

Thank you Harper Collins, Katherine Tegen Books, Balzer + Bray, Harper Teen, Greenwillow Books, Sparkpress, Harper Impulse, Feiwel & Friends & Disney-Hyperion!

DUDE, DID YOU SEE THIS AWESOMENESS THAT ARRIVED BY UPS?
YES, I TOTALLY STOLE THIS PICTURE FROM ANOTHER BECAUSE MY SMART PHONE IS BEING STUPID ABOUT POSTING PICTURES TO TWITTER, OR FACEBOOK, OR ANY WHERE FOR THAT MATTER! THANK YOU FEIWEL AND FRIENDS!

    1. Thanks Chrissi! I think, at times, I'm very lucky to have the ability to download books of this sort. Guess it shows I've come a long way as a reviewer/blogger!

  2. Omg, Clariel! I'm torn between trying to get it and knowing I am way behind on review books and wouldn't get to it anyway pre-release... I hope you enjoy it, and all of these!

    1. The wonderful thing about most of the Harper books is that they don't come out for a few months. Gives me plenty of time to get caught up. I'm behind as well! Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Scorched was really nice, I finished it yesterday and I'm curious to start Revealed. You had many books this week. Happy reading!

  4. What an amazing haul! Edelweiss was a dangerous place over the last week or so but I managed to be fairly restrained! You got some great books, especially Clariel which I didn't get as I still have to read Abhorsen. Enjoy all your new books and happy reading :)

    1. Thank you! I'm so happy that Harper has auto approved my access to their titles. I truly do need to restrain myself a bit, but these don't come out for a few months!

  5. Oh wow! So envious that Edelweiss actually acknowledges your requests! I can't figure out why they tend to ignore mine. I literally have one that's been pending for a year! I ended up getting the review copy from another source and have since bought the final copy! It's sooooo annoying! I can't figure out why they ignore me. I have in my profile that I'm a blogger/reviewer. It just doesn't work. I still have 2 other pending requests that have been there for over a week now and I have no idea when they will get to answering those.

Regardless, awesome haul! I am at least glad that I got A Thousand Pieces of You from RT, otherwise I'd be upset about the waiting for that one too! Hope you enjoy all your awesome new reads!

And sorry for the ranting! I just get frustrated with Edelweiss and have no idea what I can do to my profile to be taken seriously.

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

    1. It's totally fine Jessica. I understand. I don't know how Edelweiss does things. I actually sent them a message about getting rid of all the older requests of mine since no action was taken one way or the other. They did. They only reason I have so many this week, is that I'm approved by Harper Collins, which yes, shocks me as well. Guess they finally discovered that I actually read what they approve me for? Anyway, a little rant now and then is good for the soul!

  6. That World Walker trilogy thing looks freaking awesome! I'm really hopeful that Welcome To The Dark House and A Thousand Pieces Of You will be really goo - when I get round to reading them. I really love their covers. Hope you enjoy all your new books!

  7. I read very few YA books but I think they have some of the best book covers and they don't need mostly naked men to accomplish that (not that I'm complaining about PNR book cover yummy-ness but variety can be a good thing).

  8. I can't wait to read Falling into Place and Deliverance. Hope you enjoy them :)
